Sound is not playingPronunciation and Listening mode
- Check media volume and try the replay control in Listening mode.
- Check pronunciation controls in Settings. Mistake sounds are separate from word audio. Connect to the internet to download audio that is not cached yet.
- If it continues, report your iPhone, iOS version, selected languages, and Silent Mode state.
Haptics are not workingCorrect, incorrect, and selection feedback
Enable haptic feedback in Vocapair Settings and confirm System Haptics are enabled in iPhone Settings. Some feedback is deliberately subtle and occurs only after a learning action.
Restore purchasesRecover eligible App Store access
Open the Store in Vocapair and choose Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account that made the original App Store purchase.
Change or reset learningLanguages, level, feedback, and progress
Study direction, level, practice mode, pictures, focused word cards, appearance, and reminders are available in Settings. Resetting learning data is destructive, so read the confirmation carefully.
Catalog, phrases, and downloads
Missing words or phrases?Check language, level, and access
The catalog contains 20 dictionaries, but each language direction and level can have different content. Use the level selector at the bottom of a dictionary. Phrases have their own level filter inside a category; English phrase coverage is broader than translated phrase coverage.
Old artwork or an incomplete download?Refresh the catalog cache
Connect to the internet, then use Settings → About → Clear cache. Reopen the catalog and let its data and covers download. Clearing cache is separate from resetting learning progress; offline content must be downloaded again.
Suggest a dictionary or correct contentUse the Feedback forms
Open Settings → Feedback. Choose a dictionary suggestion or a word, translation, or phrase correction. Fill in the required fields to enable Send. The system share sheet lets you choose the recipient and channel; nothing is submitted automatically.
